Biodegradable Pots
For pots that shifted out of the nursery tray we have developed a range of patented enclosed bottom pots. They are supplied flat and only requires twisting to square the pot and the base drops down. This system replaces plastic pots with an eco-friendly alternative.
Advantages
- Supplied flat taking up less storage room
- Faster filling than poly bags as can be filled more than 1 at a time
- Is a green product that can be composted or recycled if not planted with the plant
- Plastic pots are hard to dispose of. Whilst they can be reused extra labour is required to retrieve and clean the pots for reuse. Biodegradeable pots are a one way, handle once solution

The biodegradable pot can be used to replace smaller plastic pots up to 100mm square x 250mm high. As we are manufactures, we can work with growers to develop containers to suit their specific product to be grown. Uses include grape vines, olives, citrus, grafted tomatoes, roses, flowers, trees, etc.
A perfect “green” marketing tool in this ever increasingly environment conscious society.
